Class Code: 9516

Per NCCI's Scopes Code Description:

Code 9516 applies to employers that install, service, or repair home theater equipment including, but not limited to, televisions, DVD players and recorders, digital video recorders, and speakers. The erection of satellite dishes (36 inches or less) to receive broadcast signals is also assigned to Code 9516 when performed by the home theater installer. Satellite dishes are generally mounted on homes or other buildings.

Employees who work exclusively in an electronics store and do not install, service, or repair equipment are assigned to Code 8017. Refer to Code 9519 for the installation, service, or repair of electrical appliances.
