Code 2119 is assigned to insureds engaged in the manufacturing of citrus juice and citrus segments and the packaging of the product for shipment or sale. Fruit is received, washed, sorted, and squeezed, extracting the juice. Juices may be concentrated and frozen, or packed single strength for retail consumption. Oranges and grapefruit may be peeled and cut into segments before canning. The various citrus products may be canned, bottled, or packed in paper or plastic containers. Fruit juices may be packed in fifty-five (55) gallon plastic containers or may be shipped by railroad tank car for packaging at other locations.
Code 2119 is also assigned to the production of wine, cider, vinegar, or vegetable juices.
Code 2119 is additionally assigned to the manufacture of animal feed pellets from citrus pulp and peel residue.
