Per NCCI's Scopes Code Description:
Code 2114 is applied to insureds receiving oysters at their plants located on shore, or the oysters may be picked up at a dock. The operations involve grading, washing and shucking, and use of hand knives. The shucked oysters are placed in gallon and pint containers which may be sealed by hand with press tops or by machines which roll the edge of the lid. The containers are then packed in boxes with ice and shipped to customers.
Code 2114 additionally contemplates clam digging operations.
